The Campolongo pass, a nugget between the Cordevole and Badia valleys, links the Sella and Gardena passes. A must for mountain, motorbike and winter sports lovers.
Closing the magical loop around the Gruppo Sella, the Campolongo pass is a jewel on the famous Sellaronda, linking the Gardena, Sella and Pordoi passes.
Thanks to the many stages of the Giro d'Italia and its easy accessibility, the pass has become a popular destination for cyclists. Campolongo, along with Sella, Gardena and Pordoi, forms the Sellaronda, a route for skiing, road riding, cycling and hiking.
The route itself is short but intense, covering almost 11 kilometres in around 20 minutes, peaking at 1,875 metres along the SP244 from Arabba to Corvara in Badia.
What makes this pass special is its ease of access and excellent road quality. There are also plenty of rest areas where you can enjoy a picnic while taking in the majestic views of the Dolomites. An experience not to be missed!
