Touring the Sorrento peninsula by motorcycle is a memorable experience, with a route of around 40 km linking Vico Equense, Sorrento, Sant'Agata sui due Golfi and Nerano. Set off from Castellammare di Stabia, favored by the Roman aristocracy, and explore the historic remains before heading for Vico Equense. Admire the ancient cathedral of Santa Maria Annnunziata and sample local specialties such as pizza au mètre and provolone del Monaco. In Sorrento, stroll from Piazza Lauro to Piazza Tasso, admire the Vallone dei Mulini and explore the historic alleyways. Continue on to Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, where views of both gulfs await you. Don't miss the Desert Monastery and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Finally, reach Nerano, renowned for its seabed, caves and cuisine, including spaghetti alla Nerano. Book your hotel in advance if you're traveling in summer and immerse yourself in the history and flavors of this magnificent region.
