The Col Pramollo, or Nassfeld in German, offers an idyllic setting with its picturesque lake, accessible by motorcycle from Austria or Italy. Surrounded by majestic peaks, the pass is a perfect stopping-off point for capturing unique photo moments. Open all year round, it attracts skiers but requires caution due to sometimes precarious road conditions, especially in spring with gravel and dirt on the road surface. Tight bends and heavy summer traffic add to its demanding character. At the summit, nature is in all its splendour with Lake Nassfeld, a popular spot for fishing and summer swimming, surrounded by peaks and forests, and frequented by donkeys who are not inclined to disturb. The descent to Tröpolach on the Austrian side promises a better maintained road, leading to Carinthia's largest ski area. For a warmer swim, Lake Pressegger near Hermagor, known as the "bathtub of Carinthia", offers water temperatures of up to 28°C in summer.
