The winding roads invite you to take it easy, surrounded by a varied fauna and a rich botanical heritage.Lake Scanno, the heart-shaped jewel of the Marsican mountains, offers pebble beaches for swimmers. Not far away, Scanno boasts narrow streets and Baroque architecture. Further south, Villetta Barrea, surrounded by mountains, is close to the Barrea artificial lake, home to rare birds.The Abruzzo National Park, created to protect wildlife such as the Marsican brown bear and the golden eagle, offers a landscape of mountains and waterways. Sora, an important town in Frosinone, is rich in religious and historical heritage, from the cathedral to the remains of the S. Casto castle, bearing witness to the region's rich history.
